Bile Duct Adenoma

Abstract
|
|
|
The bile duct adenoma is true neoplasm arising from bile duct epithelium, usually solitary and subcap- sular in location, and usually found incidental to laparotomy or autopsy. The bile duct adenoma is distinct rom Moyenborg complex, which is developmental anormaly or hamartoma, usually multiple, with cystic dilatation of ducts. The bile duct adenoma is benign neoplasm, there is no development of carcinoma, however, the lesion with active bile duct proliferation can cause problems in diagnosis, and pathologic recognition and classification are important.
The authors have recently experienced a case of bile duct adenoma, which herein reported and the brief literature¢¥s are reviewed.
